In the last couple of weeks, we have submitted a planning application for a two storey extension for the owners of a detached house in Woking.  Looking to improve and enlarge their home, the owners contacted us for our expertise.  Although, the house is currently a well functioning 4-bed home, the client explained to us that they want to optimise their downstairs living space by moving their kitchen to the rear of the house and using the space created through the extension to form an open plan kitchen, diner and family area.  Upstairs, the fourth bedroom is currently a box room and they would like to enlarge this and create ensuite facilities to serve it.  No problem!

We knew when we listened to our clients that we would need to design a two storey extension to fulfil their project brief.  In order to maximise the potential for the downstairs space, we also incorporated a ground floor extension to allow for a really lovely family area.  We think this will look absolutely brilliant once it’s built!
