Our client approached us with a clear objective.  To transform their existing kitchen and conservatory into a modern, open-plan living space suitable for both dining and family life. The original conservatory was no longer serving its purpose — too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, and disconnected from the rest of the home.

We proposed a single-storey rear extension that would replace the conservatory and provide a dining area, as well as a new family zone for relaxation and togetherness.

Part of our design focused on creating a seamless flow between the indoors and outdoors. A key feature of the extension is the installation of bifold doors, which open out onto a newly designed patio. This not only floods the interior with natural light but also enhances the connection with the garden, perfect for entertaining and family life.

The layout was carefully planned to provide:
