Embarking upon this home extension in Surrey for our clients, we knew it was going to be a transformative project.  The goal was to expand the living space and enhance the building’s functionality.  Our design process was centred around creating a cohesive and functional layout that would meet the needs of family.

Archetype Central Architectural & Planning Services produced the whole package of drawings on behalf of the applicants and submitted it to Elmbridge Borough Council.  The planners granted full planning permission for the works under their delegated powers.  We then prepared the Building Regulations package which also received approval.

We might be a little biased, but we think the project was a stunning success.  Our clients were thrilled with their new space, which perfectly balances functionality against aesthetics.  The open-plan kitchen/dining area became the heart of their home, whilst the addition of two further bedrooms ensured that the growing family could remain in the house that they loved.
