Archetype Central has provided architectural services in Guildford for many years and we understand the local architecture, character areas and the policies that govern these.  We undertook a two-part project in Merrow, beginning with a sunroom extension to the rear of a bungalow. Externally, the extension was constructed of red brick to match the existing bungalow. The sunroom provides a bright, versatile space for year-round use, seamlessly integrating with the existing structure.

The second part involved designing a side extension to provide a new integral garage and bay window to the front of the house. The garage offers secure parking and additional storage and the bay window adds interest to the property, while blending harmoniously with the bungalow’s architecture.  Archetype Central produced all drawings and detailed plans for both phases of the project, then submitted them to Guildford Borough Council for approval.
